Time to Visit The Biggest Sand Desert in the World "Rub Al Khali" or Empty Quarter that stretches 650K sq Kms covering UAE, KSA, Oman n Yemen

The Dunes in this region are probably also the biggest and most majestic.

We intend to camp in the region of Taal Moreeb on Thursday Night, enjoy a communal Camp Fire and then commence our drive Friday Morning by 9am  

Participants must carry 1 bundle fire food for Camp Fire 

Cars w Smaller Tanks would require to carry Extra 20L Fuel, in suitable metallic jerry cans well strapped and secured using ratchet straps inside or on top of their cars

Due to sheer distance of the drive location and nature of the dunes in the area it is imperative to ensure you vehicle is in top condition mechanically and well serviced prior to attending the trip. (To Avoid long trip back to Civilization in a recovery Truck)

First Timers will not be permitted, Newbies w 4-5 trips Can Attend this Drive. 


Covid-19 Precautionary Measures,

Note -  This whole drive is in Abu Dhabi and Covid Test is required to cross the border and enter into Abu Dhabi. 

1. Each Convoy will be restricted to Max. 8/10 cars with up to 3 persons in each car.
2. Face Masks to be worn by all members at all times during the event (except inside your car).
3. All members to maintain a minimum of 2m distance from each other and Marshals.
4. No sharing of Food & Drinks.
5. In need of recovery please radio in and the assigned sweep or Marshal will come to assist.

CHECKLIST:
1. Your emergency contact info must be available at the Offroaders website.
2. Ensure your 4x4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with a full fuel tank at the meeting point.
3. Carry all necessary offroad gears/recovery equipment in good condition.
4. Carry enough water/refreshments/re-hydration drinks for yourself & co-passenger(s).
5. Make sure that your spare tire is in a workable condition.
6. Your vehicle must have front and rear tow points.
7. Seat belts must be on while driving including passenger(s).
8. Read your vehicle owners manual to be acquainted with the 4WD system.
9. Radio (tuned to frequencies mentioned on your convoy)
10. Flag

FOR SAFETY REASONS, ANYONE WITHOUT A FLAG AND A PROPERLY CONFIGURED RADIO WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE
