Trip Details (Long Weekend)

During the course of this trip we will cross the UAE from one end to the other in an Expedition style of driving. covering approximately 350+ Kms offroad. 

The Trip will involve 2 Night of Camping, participants will need to be completely self sufficient for Camping Gear, Food ,Water and other essentials   

Fuel Management - Enroute only one refueling station means you need to carry enough fuel for your car to cover 200kms offroad. Dual Tank cars will manage but for single tank cars 20 or 40 L extra fuel recommended. 

Participants needs to ensure they're cars are in good working condition and expected to carry basic tools, fluids and spares for thier vehicle. 

Weather - Days will be continue to be warm with termps getting into the miid 30's , overnight lows will slip into the late teens so light warm wear recommended  

Each Pariticipant to carry 1 bundle Fire Wood 

Due to Nature of Trip Limited to 9 Cars (Intermediate and Above)

Covid-19 Precautionary Measures,

1. Convoy will be restricted to Max. 9  cars with up to 3 persons in each car.
2. Face Masks to be worn by all members at all times during the event (except inside your car).
3. All members to maintain a minimum of 2m distance from each other and Marshals.
4. No sharing of Food & Drinks.
5. In need of recovery please radio in and the assigned sweep or Marshal will come to assist.

CHECKLIST:
1. Your emergency contact info must be available at the Offroaders website.
2. Ensure your 4x4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with a full fuel tank at the meeting point.
3. Carry all necessary offroad gears/recovery equipment in good condition.
4. Carry enough water/refreshments/re-hydration drinks for yourself & co-passenger(s).
5. Make sure that your spare tire is in a workable condition.
6. Your vehicle must have front and rear tow points.
7. Seat belts must be on while driving including passenger(s).
8. Read your vehicle owners manual to be acquainted with the 4WD system.
9. Radio (tuned to frequencies mentioned on your convoy)
10. Flag

FOR SAFETY REASONS, ANYONE WITHOUT A FLAG AND A PROPERLY CONFIGURED RADIO WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE
